  • Local Data Only: Your timer sessions, presets, and app preferences are stored locally on your device using Core Data.
  • No Personal Information: We do not collect your name, email, or any personally identifiable information.
  • No Analytics or Tracking: We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
  • Payments: Subscription purchases are handled entirely by Apple via the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information.

2. How We Use Information

The limited data we process is used solely to:

  • Provide core app functionality (timers, statistics)
  • Save your preferences and settings
  • Display your session history and local analytics
  • Send local notifications for timer completion

We do not use your data for marketing or advertising.

3. Data Storage and Security

  • Local Storage: All data stays on your device.
  • No Cloud Sync: We do not transmit or store your data on external servers.
  • Device Security: Your data is protected by your device’s built-in security (e.g., iOS encryption and passcode).

4. Permissions We Request

FocusLock may request the following permissions:

  • Notifications: To alert you when timer sessions complete
  • Background App Refresh: To ensure timers continue running when the app is in the background

You may enable or disable these permissions in your device settings.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your data with third parties. Since all data remains on your device, no information is transmitted externally.

6. Data Deletion

You can delete all app data by:

  • Deleting the app from your device
  • Using the “Reset All Data” option in app settings (if provided)

Because your data is only stored locally, once you delete the app, all data is permanently removed.

7. Children’s Privacy

FocusLock does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). Since we don’t collect personal information, the app is safe for all ages.

8. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your data, including:

  • The right to access or request deletion of your data
  • The right to withdraw permissions (e.g., notifications) at any time

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control.

FocusLock is available worldwide. Because no personal data is transmitted to us, there are no cross-border data transfers.

We take privacy seriously and rely on iOS’s built-in safeguards to protect your information. However, no system is entirely secure—please keep your device software up to date.
